QR Code STL Generator for 3D Printing
Make a 3D-printable QR code plate for your website, WhatsApp number or Wi-Fi network — perfect for shops, restaurants and offices.
How to use it
- 1Choose the code type: website link, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi or text.
- 2Enter the details — Jordanian WhatsApp numbers are converted to international format automatically.
- 3Set the plate size and add a keyring hole if you want one.
- 4Download the file and print the base in a light color and the modules in a dark one.
What a 3D-printed QR code is good for
A printed QR plate lasts for years and needs no power, which makes it handy for:
- WiFi QR codes for cafés, clinics, offices and guest rooms — guests scan and join without typing the password.
- WhatsApp QR codes on shop counters so customers can message you in one tap.
- Menu, Google Maps review and Instagram links on tables and packaging.
- Keychains and name tags that link to a portfolio or contact card.
How to make a WiFi QR code that scans
Choose “Wi-Fi network”, type the network name exactly as it appears on your phone (it is case-sensitive) and the password, then pick WPA for almost all modern routers. The code uses the standard WIFI: format that the iPhone and Android cameras read natively.
Scanners need contrast, not depth: print the base white and the modules black, keep each square at least 1.2 mm wide, and leave the light border (quiet zone) around the code.
Frequently asked questions
Can phones scan a printed QR code?
Yes, as long as the contrast is clear: a white or light base with black modules. A single-color code is hard to read. Keep each module at 1.2 mm or larger.
How do I print it in two colors without an AMS?
Add a filament change (M600 or a pause) at the base height in your slicer, then swap the light filament for the dark one.
Is my Wi-Fi password safe here?
Yes. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers. Remember that anyone who scans the plate can join your network.
Why won’t my printed QR code scan?
Usually the colors are too similar, the modules are too small, or the quiet zone was cropped. Use black on white, make the plate bigger, and keep the border.
Does the QR code support Arabic text?
Yes. Text and WiFi names are encoded as UTF-8, which modern phone cameras read correctly, including Arabic.
