Technical Specifications

Filaments that are too soft, brittle or abrasive are not compatible with the AMS lite. Bambu PLA Glow and PETG-CF are not recommended as they cause faster wear.

Which printers work with the AMS lite?

The AMS lite is designed for the Bambu Lab A1, A1 mini and A2L. For the X1, P1 series and P2S, choose the Bambu Lab AMS instead.

Can I print TPU with the AMS lite?

No. TPU and other flexible filaments are not supported inside the AMS lite — feed them from the external spool holder.

Does the AMS lite keep filament dry?

No, the AMS lite is an open design without a drying chamber. If you need sealed, humidity-controlled storage, the enclosed Bambu Lab AMS is the better choice.
